April 21, 2001 POA Board Meeting
The emergency Services committee is coordinating the area meetings to discuss the Santa Fe Trail Ranch Emergency Plan. At these meetings, the Area Leaders and back-ups will ensure that all interested residents in each of their areas have an opportunity to discuss the Plan and become familiar with the communication process that will be followed in the event of an emergency. Also, plans are now finalized for the “mock” evacuation to test the Plan. This test will be conducted in May.
As a reminder, the Emergency Plan, Area Leaders and residents in each area has been posted on the Santa Fe Trail Ranch web site for residents to access. In addition all information including maps has been distributed to the Sheriff’s Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Crews.
Improvement to the Neighborhood Watch program and working with the County officials to correct the problems with the 911 system are the next goals of the committee.
