February 17, 2001 POA Board Meeting
The Emergency Services Committee has been focusing on the new Santa Fe Trail Ranch Emergency Plan which has now been completed and distributed to all Area Leaders and back-ups. These individuals have or will be having meetings within each of their areas to discuss the Plan with Ranch residents within their areas. Also, plans are underway for a "mock" evacuation to test the Plan. This test will be conducted early this coming spring.
The Emergency Plan: Area Leaders and residents in each area has been posted on the Santa Fe Trail Ranch web site for residents to access. In addition, all information including maps has been distributed to the Sheriff's Department, Fire Department and Ambulance Crews.
Improvement to the Neighborhood Watch program is the next goal of the committee. Meetings with the Sheriff's Department and the Committee will be held in March followed by meetings with Santa Fe Trail Ranch residents as the Plan is completed.
