Just after lunch, I noticed a thunderstorm developing just to our Northwest. For an hour it grew until I could see that it was raining on the Spanish Peaks. It grew larger still and began to spread westward. I couldn't take my eyes off of it and prayed to God that it didn't miss us, but... that there would be no lightening? I wondered if God would mind if I added that. :-) Around 2 o'clock it began, small hail first, then rain. Rain, hail then rain and hail mixed. And lots of it. What a blessing! I have no clue just how much we got but the pictures should tell the story. And I will end by quoting the gentleman reading the Trinidad Complex Fire daily report to head quarters that I heard a few moments ago on our fire radio. He said, "Fire activity on Friday afternoon, June 14th... Non-existent." Amen.
