Greetings, fellow frozen water vapor aficionados! After trekking to Angel Fire with my trusty (perhaps rusty is more appropriate?) assistants I find that Angel Fire does indeed have 24 inches of new snow.

So this is my Final Answer… Whoops I forgot my tape measure…..drat. Do not fear, based on mental and arithmetical extrapolations, the cosmic rays AND while taking into consideration the angle of the dangle and the depth of snow encompassing the gams of my paramour, Fred….the base at Angel Fire is not 45 inches as reported, but merely …1 to 30 inches, depending on where you are at the time of said measurement.

Good information, Penelope! My next installment will be from Ski Santa Fe where they purport to have 100% of the lower mountain and 90% of the upper mountain open…first time in several years. It is a beautiful ski area!!
