Snowmass: February 11, 2002

Warm, sunny and skimpy.  The snow was groomed and skied pretty well until early afternoon and then was pretty much scraped off and rocky.  Boy, they need some snow very bad.  Nevertheless, we had a great day and introduced Dick Goellen to a type of terrain that you don’t see often at most Colorado resorts.  Runs not made by dozers, runs were you ski the terrain.  Check out the view from Elk Camp… that’s Maroon Bells framed by our heads.
