The Common Area Committee is unique, in that it only has its Chair as a member. It is responsible for all things related to the Ranch Common areas, so it accomplishes its’ tasks mainly through its’ Subcommittees, such as the Road Subcommittee. It is also responsible for trash collection, signage, and general maintenance of Ranch property and infrastructure.
This past year has been fairly routine, once the Blizzard of ‘06/’07 was dealt with. The trash collection process has gone smoothly with the exception of those problems caused by the dumping of oversize items such as furniture and appliances, and of course, the all-time headache, construction trash. There will likely be a new Covenant shortly requiring all significant construction projects to have a dedicated roll-off dumpster.
New signage has been added in the trash dumpster area and on the bridge, as well as on Gallinas along the Conservancy.
The main pending task as of this writing is to have a Structural Engineer inspect our bridge.
The Chair at this time is Robert L. Scott
